Amanda Riddle is One of Three Eaton Fire Lawyers Appointed to Leadership in SCE Lawsuits

On March 17, 2025, Corey Gibbs Fire Lawyers’ Amanda Riddle was one of three attorneys appointed as liaison counsel on behalf of individual plaintiffs in the Eaton Fire litigation, which seeks to hold SCE accountable for causing the fire. The judge appointed the liaison counsel following the March 17th case management conference. As liaison counsel, Amanda serves as one of the primary spokespersons for individual fire survivors and coordinates between all parties involved in the case.

The nearly three-hour discussion covered wide-ranging topics including guidance on navigating the insurance claims process and cautioning against hiring public adjusters or taking money from FEMA.

On January 21, 2025, Amanda Riddle provided advice to fire survivors on a virtual webinar offered by the Motion Picture and Television Fund. The webinar focused on how to navigate insurance claims, financial planning & tax considerations, accessing industry-related support, and other topics.
